Alarma Nuclear

Alarma Nuclear recalls the Cuban Missile Crisis occured on October 1962.
The image was elaborated starting from the map CIA used during the secret meetings on the Cuban crisis. The concentric circles show the full range of the Soviet Union nuclear missiles under construction in Cuba. From Canada to Brazil north to south and far into Pacific and Atlantic Oceans west to east. The purpose of the installation is to look back on Castro’s government criticalities and strengthen the memory of an event endangered of fading out from cuban society collective memory.
